@leppanphysiques: When this client first joined he asked me how he was supposed to lose weight if we were putting him on more calories than he was already eating. I told him to trust the process. Week 1 👉 weight didn't move. He called and said he didn't think it was working and the calories should come down. I asked how he felt and sure enough - he had better energy, better sessions. I said keep going. Week 2 👉 same thing. Better energy. Weight still not moving. Keep going. Eventually week 4 came and he had two and a half kilos gone in one week. No cardio. No calorie cuts. Same training. What changed was his metabolism had slowly started working the way it should. His NEAT went up (all the involuntary energy he burns just living his life, moving around, fidgeting, taking steps.) That crashes when you push calories down and ignore food quality. Fix the quality, fix the energy conversion, and eventually you're eating more and burning more at the same time. That's how you actually get the fat off and keep it off. If you've been pushing calories lower and getting nowhere, comment GAMEPLAN below. You might be digging the same hole.
