but if you actually care about the story, there’s so much more. the storytelling literally feels like poetry and a whole theatre play, from deep joseon cultural traditions to complex character backstories. the top notch acting from the main trio carries the entire show... it’s an actual masterpiece if people stopped skipping

There was something so heartbreaking about watching JCW portray a man who was still carrying the ghost of a love that never got its proper ending. The way he looked at her, the restraint, the sadness underneath everything… he made you feel the kind of grief that doesn’t disappear, it just becomes something you learn to carry.
