Blowing up on TikTok is luck (now). On longform YouTube though it's skill, it's about holding and utilizing the viewership. TikTok you can make exactly what people wanna watch and have watched and why people followed you, and it won't send it to anyone

He is wrong unfortunately (though the example of the dude who didn’t blow up makes sense). Luck is 100% needed. I got lucky and made stuff for years. There is the right time, place, video, topic, tags, etc. that has to align. Entertaining is entertaining but so much talent gets hidden in the background and never gets seen. Also is very hard to organically do well without pay to win as someone who did not pay to win I am a huge anomaly, more so than people think. Love Joe and his stuff from what I’ve seen but this isn’t correct imo

It is luck bro there is so many people out there like joe same jokes and like same ability and the war zone guy there is probably so many other popular dudes out there just like him it’s just that the audience has moved to one guy it’s little to no skill to get into this typa stuff since it all depends on what people like and then you need luck for people to find it at the right time

i feel like people just don't understand how to make quality, watchable content. doing social media is a skill and you have to know what you're doing to succeed. Yes you can get lucky but at the end of the day if ur still not making "watchable" content, you'll never retain viewers. genuinely just study popular videos of creators you'd like to be similar to and really think about why their content is so entertaining or watchable.
