@charles_perfumer: Making a 10/10 autumn fragrance 🍂 For this perfume, I wanted something warm, spicy and slightly sweet without turning it into a full gourmand fragrance. The formula combines vanilla, cinnamon, cedarwood, black pepper, green apple accord, tobacco leaf and amber to create that classic autumn perfume feeling - warm woods, spice, sweetness and a little freshness running through it. The finished fragrance ended up smelling like a really warm apple pie, which was exactly the kind of cosy fall scent I was aiming for. The only thing I’d change is toning the cinnamon down slightly so the apple, tobacco and amber could come through a little more. This is one of my favourite styles of fragrance to make around September because those warm spicy notes naturally suit colder weather so well. #perfumemaking #perfumery #autumn #fallfragrance #diyperfume
