I’m angry because everyone else gets to move on and it’s not longer relevant to them but I live with the trauma every single day. people get to make ignorant comments to me and I’m supposed to just laugh them off when in reality I want to sob with jealousy and anger because it’s not fair that they get to be ignorant on DV. It’s not fair. I’d do anything to not understand DV again. But once you’ve been through it you understand it and the ignorant comments hurt because they are a signal of a privilege I’ll never get again
