At first glance, it looks like the tower is literally twisting as it rises. But the real architectural story is even more fascinating: the building starts with a triangular footprint and gradually expands into a rectangular floor plate as it rises above the Granville Street Bridge. 🔺➡️⬛ The result is a futuristic residential tower that transforms zoning restrictions, bridge setbacks, a difficult urban site, views, daylight, and density into the architecture itself. That’s what makes Vancouver House such an interesting example of contemporary architecture, high-rise design, parametric thinking, urban design, skyscraper architecture, and site-responsive architecture.
