But you then risk forgetting things that your teachers says that might not be able to be found in textbooks or videos, like explanations or top tips. Writing notes in your own words is so effective, cause you have a record of the lessons which you can look back on in the future, and you also thought about what you’re writing rather than mindless transcription. I’m not saying write down paragraphs of notes, but not writing anything means you’re setting yourself up to forget things.
