This lovely lady's bread making skills are next level! She managed to whip up this huge flat bread in less than 1 minute! Her role is to bake bread for this restaurant's unlimited Turkish breakfast, and judging by their variety of jams, it is quite a feast, but we were there for their a la carte offerings. We started things off with a couple of their freshly squeezed juices, both the Aegean sunshine and green detox were delish, followed by the food, their poached eggs on avocado toast were fab, perfectly runny yolk, then their simit (best Turkish bread if you ask me!) with cream cheese and smoked salmon, basically an elevated smoked salmon cream cheese bagel! Their watermelon, feta salad was fantastic, so refreshing! Now this was their version of a burger, light fluffy bread, a bit like a muffin, stuffed with braised beef, egg and melted cheese, heavenly stuff! Now this dish was my absolute favourite, those roasted beets in that goat's cheese cream were EVERYTHING, and more! For dessert, we finished with a Turkish classic, I won't butcher its name but it was basically pastry filled with chopped nuts and drenched in syrup, divine!!
