I love a contact nap but one cot nap would be nice 🥲 my baby wakes the second I move her into her cot. She screams the moment I put her down when she's awake too so I genuinely can't do anything 🙈

My 9 month old only contact naps on me during the day. I have no desire to stop. I love it too much. 🥺 He does sleep in his cot at night, doesn’t seem to confuse the two ❤️

I’m trying to get my 7 month old to sleep in her cot at night & for naps. She falls asleep by being held & rocked. I wait until she’s in a deep sleep but once I put her on that cot mattress she wakes up or I struggle to get my arm out from under her head. If I put her on our bed it’s okay but in her cot it’s like she knows 😅🤷🏽♀️

What I found the most bizarre is going from a baby who needed what I would say was high sensory input, bouncing on a yoga ball to fall asleep and solely contact naps, to all of a sudden fighting it and now he self settles and sleeps in the cot! I just followed his lead, stopped trying to transfer and eventually he stopped needing/wanting the help! Xx

I’ve been cot napping my boy for about a week now and he’s been amazing. Over the past couple of days he’s been screaming the house down when it’s time for nap and we get in the nursing chair.. why could this be?!

I’ve just started today to try cot naps with my three month old! Two half an hour naps then we had a three hour contact nap afterwards, I’ll take it! Obviously way more time and effort but I will keep persisting! Thank you for this 🥰

I’m desperately trying daytime cot naps with my baby girl she’s 6 months and although me personally I’m not ready for her to be in her own room I’m really trying to make it a positive space in the day for when she does transition (popping her down with toys while I put clothes away, spending time in there with her etc etc) but it’s impossible she sleeps so deeply and so nicely in a contact nap when I know she’s in a deep sleep I attempt a transfer the longest I’ve had is 10 minutes in the cot 😫 she’ll sleep longer in the next to me in the day, but the big girl cot, it’s a struggle, so thank you for this!! 💕

My baby is only 11 weeks but when I try to put him down he wakes himself up with his arms and legs which he does a lot of this movement in the day. It isn’t a startle reflex. He has a lot of reflux so may be this. Even in a love to dream swaddle he wakes himself up is there anything else I can do?

@Tash🍁💕: I tried cot naps months ago with my twins (maybe 2mo old?) and gave up, starting to try again now at 6mo and still no success, currently all our naps are pram/rocking chair/swing. Any tips on transitioning to bed naps as obviously feed to sleep with 2, while effective, is not really an option..
