Why can’t we be happy someone else is helping to provide for our children I have 2 step daughters and I always done what I needed to do to help take care of them and their mom was not bitter she was accepting that’s the difference in being an adult and being bitter

Bottom line: if your focus is on ANYTHING other than the fact that you know your child is getting taken care of, and that they're cared about, you are failing as a parent. Raising a kid is not a place where your pride should be the focus. And that's what the dad is doing here: worrying more about his pride than the fact that the other man is taking care of her and making sure she has things that she needs. It shouldn't matter that he's not her dad: it should matter that he's showing her love.

wth my husband use to buy stuff for my girls especially at the beginning of school or if they got good grades as long as there are no stings attached they're is nothing wrong with your child's village expanding. hell my husband knew my girls sizes better then bio(he sent stuff that was 3 sizes to small)

You know what I would do. If it bothered him so much, I would wait till they are at the till, try and stay out of sight and when she gives the other guy to total I would step up and say let me get that for you. And present payment. No confrontation, no egos, no embarrassment for the young lady.

my daughter got kidnapped by my ex husband kinda this way we were at an amusement park my fiance my daughter and my ex husband and his mother we had no idea they were going to show up after we had been there for 3 hours, he shows up and picked her up from the ground when I was 3 ft away and he would not put her down we had to let him take her because I didn't have full custody yet but after a month I got her back after I won the court case and got police involved she is 8 now and me and my now husband are happily married and have a son that 2 now I'm so happy that I got full custody and he can never hurt or abuse her or me again
