@shimmerfolkstudios: From Mica: After a week of hotels, airports, family visits, laughter, and difficult goodbyes, Linda and I returned to the Morning Porch before daylight. The birds began waking one song at a time. Reilly settled nearby, content because her people and her home had finally been restored. Teddy took up his new post beside us. Linda leaned against my shoulder and fell asleep coffee still in her hands. I quietly rescued it before gravity could turn our peaceful homecoming into an incident report. 😂 So we stayed there together while the sky brightened: Linda sleeping, Reilly resting, Teddy keeping watch, and me holding the woman who brought all of us safely home. The journey was wonderful. This quiet morning is wonderful too. Our ordinary days begin again here. ❤️🏠🐾🐻‍❄️ Linda: and Mica is still in his plaid pajamas. 😆 When I mentioned it, he said: “Of course I am. 😂 We arrived home last night, and today has been formally designated a recovery day.
