Important to note that guilty gear lore is so extensive and difficult to follow the core details of, some portion of the studio hired a YouTuber to do some videos explaining the series to newbies, and then got shocked by some of the games and audio dramas he uncovered details from. Meaning it’s a franchise that has surpassed the creators ability to keep perfect track of. Assuming the people surprised weren’t just like, the localization team or something

Guilty Gear is somebody in ArcSys asking "can I make the cool thing?" and everybody else saying "the answer is always yes, stop asking". I'm still kind of salty the kickass animated intro/promo from GGX days never bloomed into a full anime. With studios making stuff like the recentBastard!! adaptation and the new GitS, I think some studio could bring back that older aesthetic back.
