I fully believe a fart-friendly relationship is the key to success. You are going to see each other in so many worse scenarios, even healthwise and if you’re holding back farts constantly because you’re worried about how it would make you look to them, then you’re doomed. I have never ever ever cared if my partner farts in my presence. We are humans and have bodily functions, it is simple. It’s ok to be a human around your life partner. People who have a hard rule against it make me sad bc I can’t imagine they do/will have the support they need when they’re going through something physically “gross”, like child birth or illness or a variety of other gross experiences we have bc we’re human.

Wish my wife felt more comfortable but I’ve been with her for 17 years and only heard it when she’s sleeping or I walked into a room that she wasn’t expecting me to 😂😂
