It’s so lovely to see Alexandra have such a beautiful moment on the ice. 🤍 And I just wish we could let that moment be what it is, without comparing it to how things went for the other skaters. The test skate may not have gone the way some people hoped for everyone, but that doesn’t make Alexandra’s work any less deserving of love, and it certainly doesn’t take anything away from the others either. They’re all doing something incredibly difficult, and behind every few minutes we see on the ice are years of work, falls, doubts, sacrifices, and getting back up again. We can’t possibly know everything each of them has had to overcome to stand there and skate. And maybe that’s why their skating feels so special. They bring so much of themselves onto that ice, and somehow turn all those years of work and everything they’ve lived through into something that makes us feel, smile, and believe in a little bit of magic. ✨ There’s room to be happy for Alexandra and still hold so much love for every other skater. One beautiful moment doesn’t have to take anything away from another. At the end of the day, they’re so much more than a skate or a result. They’re the reason we watch, the reason we feel, and the reason their performances stay with us long after the music ends. 🤍⛸️✨
