@leatrize.vet.artist: Some of my art is inspired by patients I wish I could have helped sooner. 🐾 Infectious diseases can be heartbreaking to treat. We do everything we can, but sometimes a patient doesn’t respond to treatment or is already very sick by the time they reach us. That feeling stays with me. It hurts even more when it happens to my own pet. That’s why we vets, keep talking about prevention. Vaccination, parasite control, and timely checkups cannot prevent every illness, but they can give our pets a better chance.
