Vulnerability at its finest 🫣 — My journey hasn’t been easy by any means. 😅 I have fallen off more times than I care to admit throughout the years. I literally cringe when I look back at some of my pics. October 2022, I was at my ABSOLUTE heaviest, unhappy with my self, cried when I saw the # on the scale, tried to hide in pics or I would avoid taking them. You could see it in my face, my eyes & my body. In November of 22’, I was disgusted with myself, the way I looked & I decided it was time to take back control. I started taking Mounjaro when nobody really knew anything about GLP-1 meds. When it comes to dieting & all the latest trends, you name it & I’ve probably tried it. This was the first thing that actually worked for me & turned off the food noise. From Nov of 22’ to June of 23’, I had dropped about 45lbs, cleaned up my diet for the most part & stopped taking the GLP-1; but I still had a ways to go. By May of 24’, I was still maintaining the 45lb weight loss & decided it was time to get back in the gym. The gym has always been my therapy; it’s the one place I don’t have to be anything/anybody else for an hour or two. Between June - Oct of 24, most of you know I went through a divorce, dealt with all the things in between head on & worked on myself. That divorce diet will do wonders 😅😆 (I’m only kidding, IYKYK) Fast forward to June of 2026, I am officially down around 70-75lbs, I’ve been in the gym consistently 3-4 days a week for almost a year now, I eat better for the most part 👀 I know, I said the same thing when I got on the scale & started comparing pics. I’m finally starting to see baby gains 👏🏻 What works for me isn’t going to work for someone else. I realized a while back that I can’t compare my journey with someone else’s because truth be told, nobody is the same. Life will humble you very quickly. I have come to terms that food isn’t my enemy & have tried to create better eating habits. I’m not perfect - this journey has been in the works for years & years at this point. Granted, I’m still gonna eat my cheesecake & have an iced coffee bc that’s what makes me happy 😃 The goal has NEVER been to be skinny - I don’t want to be skinny. The goal is to be healthy, to be strong & to be happy with myself first & foremost. I’m not quite where I wanna be yet but we are one step closer 🎉 Progress over perfection. Consistency. A good gym partner. Good music. Pre-workout. Good food. People that support you. Keep grinding. Never give up. Keep pushing forward @Tori Money #progressoverperfection #babygains #brickhouse
