sayaka was genuinely the most realistic depiction imo, her entire livelihood and entire group of friends (maybe even ppl she views as family) were actively being threatened in her perspective. it was do it or everyone she loves dies even tho she didn’t know they were already dead at all :(

sayaka being a psychic, especially since it focused on people’s thoughts and memory, really makes me think that some part of her was truly remembering makoto but she also knew she was going to die. it’s why she panicked so hard and tried to kill first, she’s psychic, how can she ignore the knowledge that she’s going to die? but she ended up fulfilling her own prophecy

nobody understands sayaka in the comment section 😭 she is one of the realistic characters in Danganronpa, a human faced in a life or death situation which had a career she fought for, she panicked and had to kill because she worked hard to get to her career, dreamed of it when she was a kid, and also because she loved her members, and couldn't stand seeing them bashed without their leader. A person would do no matter what it takes to live and Sayaka had to manipulate her very friend just to live, which SHE REGRETTED so she wrote Leon's name to prevent all fingers pointed at makoto.

I hate how people hold a grudge towards her and Leon even though the reasons for their actions are explained so clearly and Makoto himself holds no hate for them, understanding why they did what they did. Like, why are we holding a grudge towards them on Makotos behalf but other culprits and victims are okay?
