@astralfrontiers: We created this animation to show what happened on Earth during a single Galactic Year, the ~250 million years it takes the Sun to complete one orbit around the Milky Way. Witness one of the most extraordinary chapters in Earth’s history, from the Great Dying that nearly erased life, to the rise of the dinosaurs, the first birds taking flight, the spread of flowering plants, the asteroid impact that changed the course of evolution, and finally the appearance of modern humans. One orbit around our galaxy. A quarter of a billion years of Earth’s story. #Space #Astronomy #MilkyWay #Earth #Science

Cassie🦇🕷️🕸️🧛‍♀️ :

I just don’t understand how a whole ass human beings just appeared…

gg_davide :

Where do they get these million years from

Warnot Samm :

not true for humans

Bra Mphoza :

Human civilization is brand new in the universe, if you were to compress human civilization in 24 hours human beings will take the last to 2 seconds of the 24 hours

Steven Menard :

Ya a galactic year is a special time

Jobert :

when study the bible human appears 6000 to 10000 years ago

Waleed-Ibrahimi :

It's mentioned in the Quran how humans came to earth

Jeremiah :

The age of dinosaurs is insanely long

dylangreen449 :

That’s cool what happened in the year prior

soerianto suhardi :

what is at the center of a galaxy?? 🤔

Hawk N Ya :

Is flowering plants different from regular plants? Can yall break that down, cause what did dinosaurs eat that didnt eat meat?

Ron Singh :

✅️So if the universe is expanding and the objects are moving away from each other, 1 galactic year will never be the same as 250millions years. For that matter any year/time is not the same anywhere in the observable universe, it is changing with every orbit. It maybe very minute difference but even on Earth, 1 year is not equal to 365 days literally(orbital) ✌️🙏

Tamir cohen :

I don’t know what happened yesterday

John Paul Lopez :

how can i believe this?

Міла Таро :

It’s amazing how we perceive the time. It’s just a nick of time a human life and we dare to make it a suffering.😣

BADCOMPANY :

is possible humans and dinosaurs existed within a galactic year..I'm thinking yes

Abdullah :

Allohu Akbar

BADCOMPANY :

I always assumed that there was a black hole at the center of every galaxy it just makes sense

Vi :

It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon,[1] nor does the night outrun the day. Each is travelling in an orbit of their own. Yā-Sīn, Ayah 40

Cousin Nash :

emerged from where?? kwanai imi

Tamir cohen :
