This is one of the strangest autonomous vehicle designs I have seen lately. A very low cabless platform is driving through an industrial site beside full-size trucks. A worker walks only a few steps from it while the vehicle keeps moving at low speed. There is no visible steering wheel or driver cabin. A sensor unit sits on top of the chassis. That small scene brings together several parts of autonomous driving. LiDAR perception. Obstacle detection. Path planning. Pedestrian detection. Braking control. Low-speed navigation around vehicles that are far larger than the platform itself. The body shape caught my eye most. With the cabin removed, almost the entire vehicle becomes a flat machine for transport. That could fit factory logistics, cargo movement or other closed-site jobs where people and trucks share the same road. I keep watching the worker beside it. An industrial autonomous vehicle has to detect a person at short range and react with very little room for error. AI, robotics, self-driving vehicles, electric vehicles, LiDAR, Physical AI and smart factory automation all show up in this one machine. I would like to see the full sensor layout, braking distance and emergency-stop logic behind this run. #AutonomousDriving #Robotics #SelfDriving #ArtificialIntelligence #ElectricVehicles

Loneliness isn’t just an emotional experience. It may be quietly breaking down your body. In this conversation, Bob Waldinger explains the physical mechanism behind what chronic loneliness actually does inside the body. When we’re isolated, the body treats it as a stressor. That triggers a low level of chronic inflammation and elevated cortisol that shouldn’t be there. And over time, that slow burn can begin to wear down the immune system, the coronary arteries, the joints. One cause. Multiple systems. Accelerated aging. But the flip side is just as striking. When we’re genuinely connected — when we have someone to talk to after a hard day — we can feel the body begin to calm down. That’s not just comfort. According to Bob, that may be the very mechanism behind why social connection is so protective. A problem shared isn’t just good advice. It might be one of the most powerful things we can do for our long-term health. Explore the full conversation, out now on all major streaming platforms.
