Their presence attracts larger fish, which in turn attract even bigger hunters such as tuna and mahi-mahi. Over time, an entire food web can develop around a single floating trunk 🐟 Scientists call these floating structures “fish aggregating objects” because marine life naturally concentrates around them. Some drifting trees can host hundreds, sometimes thousands of animals at once !!
