2.8 inch all White Keitech pair it with a ball head. slow roll it off the bottom then give it some pauses. Maybe 3-4 reels then pause let it touch the bottom and go back at it again.. you wanna stay close to the bottom… 🙏🏻

i personally think san diego bay is much better for halibut than mission bay. back bay goes wide (especially during the spawn)

I caught a 30” under the bridge. Live sardines for bait with an egg sinker to get it down to the bottom. Good luck

I catch Halis all the time in tamarack state beach off the rocks, I use a slip sinker rig set up, with some frozen anchovies, cast it far and let it sink, you’ll have a Hali in no time
