His hips and legs were covered with wounds.   Survival for Felix wasn’t guaranteed. Hope, however, was. And so we fought with him. Dr. Moon cleaned and closed his wounds and put together an eating plan. Twice a day our team provided careful wound treatment. Volunteers and staff sat beside him everyday encouraging him to hold on.   Today, Felix weighs 40 pounds. His wounds have healed. His spirit has returned. And according to Dr. Moon, his survival is the direct result of a small army of staff and volunteers who poured hours of love, medical care, and patience into a dog who deserved every bit of it.   We’ll care for more than 25,000 animals this year. Because of you we can say yes to cases like  help those, like Felix, that take time, resources, and patience.   𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝,  𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱.   Link in bio to learn more about our featured pets’ stories of resilience and how your generosity transforms the lives of homeless pets in need.
