@officialpageofak: What Happens If the Stock Drops in a PMCC? A PMCC can absolutely lose money, and I think that’s something people need to understand before using the strategy. If the stock drops, the short call may make money, but the LEAPS can lose more than the premium you collected. Selling the call helps offset some downside, but it does not eliminate the risk. That’s also why I’m selective about the companies I use for these trades. I want financially sound companies that I’m comfortable being bullish on for a longer period of time, because I already know there are going to be pullbacks along the way. The goal isn’t to find a strategy that never loses, it’s to understand the risk and structure the trade accordingly.
