This touched me deeply. ❤️I believe some of us are placed on this earth with hearts that simply love differently. We love freely, we give freely, we want people to feel seen, valued and remembered…and sometimes that kind of heart comes with a cost. Being chosen doesn’t mean we won’t get hurt. Sometimes we get bruised, misunderstood, taken for granted and even mistreated by the very people we were trying to love. But I’ve learned that what someone does with the love God allows to cross their path reveals their own heart posture. Our responsibility is to remain true to who God created us to be…while also learning wisdom, discernment and boundaries. We don’t have to become cold because someone mishandled our warmth. And somehow, after everything, God keeps replenishing what we pour out. He reminds us that our kindness was never wasted, our love was never foolish, and what was meant to break us can become part of the wisdom that carries us into the next season. So I’ll keep loving. I’ll keep giving. I’ll keep making people feel seen…but I’ll also protect the heart God gave me. ❤️🙏🏽
