@iamangiepope: This morning Elsie gathered all her stuffies and asked to do magic with them. Automatic yes. I looove when she weaves her favorites into our rituals. She gathered Mother Goose, her frog, and as she gathered Eeyore she asked why his tail always falls off. I’ve loved Winnie the Pooh since I was little. The Hundred Acre Wood was my haven, and Eeyore was always one of my favorites. so for me, it was such a beautiful conversation about what sadness looks like, what loss looks like, and how we can use the tools we have in ritual to regulate, to call our power back, to clear our energy. She was so excited to give Eeyore a little bit of magic as we did our ritual too. You don’t have to wait until your kids are teenagers to teach them this work. They understand it from babyhood, even more so in toddlerhood, even more so as young kids, and it just continues to grow. Can you imagine if you never lost your whimsy? And had all the tools he needed to return to it and at any time? This is exactly what we’re doing inside Ritual and we begin next week! 12 weeks family friendly magic, and rituals with me and Elsie.
