I’m not saying it doesn’t pay to put it under roof (depending on the situation), but a guy can go broke if he’s not careful spending too much going for efficiency

We grind hay too and it gets stored in piles. One pile for the feedlot, one pile for those in the winter pasture. We have old bales stacked to break wind loss.

Ours is outside too. And the cows love the added moisture on parts of it 😂

I can’t even imagine that kind of rain, here in southern Idaho we are lucky if we see one 2in rain a year. 😅
