Thissss. I have a 14 month old and we are very loose with our schedule. We have a bit of a schedule but we also let him tell us when he needs a nap by watching cues. Last night we went to a fair and he wasn’t asleep until 2.5 hours after his normal time. It was worth it to be able to do that with him. And because we have always been loose with it he isn’t miserable the next day too.

I’m in between with my 18 month old and 4 month old. I do still base our days off my 18 month old, i don’t like to mess with her nap/bed time too much because she gets cranky so easily like i tried grocery shopping an hour before her nap and i had to leave before getting everything cus she just was not having it, almost fell asleep in the car but managed to make it home to put her down but my 4 month old? I’m go with the flow with him but it is getting a bit harder with his naps cus he’s not napping as long during the day anymore and i feel like I’m gonna have to start putting him in his own space starting that routine with him instead of trying to have him nap just anywhere

I am so type A but I try to not freak if we have our 19 month up past his bedtime or off schedule. 😭😂

I feel the same way we go with the flow!! Sometimes my kids don’t go to bed til 9 o clock on weekends

One responded much better to going with the flow, and the other seems to do best with a strict schedule 🤷🏻
