@nidhinagori: Austria (in Europe) recently announced PR for foreigners without investment. But why? Austria is dealing with a real labour shortage 🇦🇹 — IT, engineering, healthcare, skilled trades, tourism and construction all need people. So the country has built a few clear pathways for foreigners. Here’s what’s actually on offer 👇 1️⃣ Red-White-Red Card (Skilled Worker) 💼 A points-based work visa for skilled workers, graduates, shortage-occupation roles and startup founders. Points come from qualifications, experience, language and age. Tied to a job offer, valid for 24 months. 2️⃣ Red-White-Red Card Plus ⏩ After 21 months of legal work on the RWR Card (plus basic German + income requirements), you can upgrade to the RWR Plus. It gives you full access to the Austrian labour market — no employer tie, no sector restriction. 🔓 3️⃣ Jobseeker Visa 🔎 Very Highly Qualified Workers can move to Austria for 6 months without a job offer, just to look for one. Once you find a role, you switch into the RWR Card. ✅ 4️⃣ Government Portal 🖥️ Austria runs an official platform (work in Austria) that lists shortage-occupation roles and connects foreign talent with employers hiring from abroad. Free to use, no agents. 🙌 The path 🛤️: Jobseeker Visa or RWR Card → RWR Plus in under 2 years → long-term residency → citizenship down the line. Follow for more global work pathways 🌍 ♻️ Share with someone job-hunting abroad. ⚠️ Application doesn’t guarantee approval or a final placement — competitive and selective process followed by final decision from relevant authorities.
