From Kizarus perspective he was the only one who could end this quickly without taking the amount of lives the WG would have taken in the process. He is a dog. But he knows the reach if he WG and everyone attached to this order would have been hunted down as killed if he didn’t end it here. He knew about Vegapunks Alters and aided the person who could let at least one escape. The man made of light stood under an all encompassing shadow he lost most of his soul long ago and gave what little he had left to protect as much as he felt he could. Not everyone can be Luffy, Kizaru died on this island as well.
