Oil has been far more a barrel previously and we paid far less for heating on petrol at the same time. There are more reasons why energy prices are higher, governments and companies still get their fair cut of any money, at consumer cost.

Thank F I have Multi burner linked to the radiators. I already get it tight these days but it's just been getting gradually worse since COVID. I don't know how they think people are going to survive. Then we will look at record profits for energy companies and government building their bank balance from taxes. Holding out on the 4th turning finishing.

It’s definitely a few things, Trump for starting it and I don’t think it’s going to plan, that part of the world just hates America so much so they’ll do whatever seems necessary, also all this is just exposing how reliant Europe and especially the UK is on importing literally everything. The governments have watched this war for months and months and can see it’s not stopping anytime soon and instead of actually doing something they think £45 a year off your electric will help and then print more money, hand out some money towards oil and gas. Then they laugh saying if we drilled for oil it goes into the open market, yes we know, that same market that is down millions of barrels a day at the moment and would help if we also drilled to try and pick up the number. Also gas sites they refuse to exploit which would keep us going for decades but still choose not to use as we need net zero and who cares if a few people can’t heat their home and die this winter, hey less pensions we need to pay out then. The government sits about and does nothing whenever they could absolutely do something. Tesco in londonderry was showing yesterday that they’ve no diesel so when does fuel shortages start everywhere
