so that app does is tell you what codes you are getting and the possible issue. you still need to get it fixed. it can clear the engine light but it will come back next time you start the car. unless you know how to repair a vehicle, take it to a mechanic before you make it worse

This doesn't make any sense because u only connect to the 12v power port which doesn't connect to the computer memory so u can't see the code and fix the problem
