I'd say 6 to 8 week game and practice suspension. mom and dad won't be to happy about paying 6 grand to not be allowed on the ice for a good chunk of the season. it will either sort itself out or his parents won't let him play anymore.

I made a big boo boo when I was around this age..I crossed checked a kid in back of head into goal post. He was ok..I got my arse tanned by my dad but also ..I got a 15 game suspension. At the time they told my dad that was longest suspension OMHA could remember. Not one of my finer moments but I like to think I did learn from it as neve again did I have an incident but also just taught me a little how to control my temper..it really did. Kid needs a healthy suspension even if he has never had an incident before. Need to do best to nip this in bud asap for any hope. Anyways take care all

I keep seeing people say, banned him for life, but I would be more concerned of. I would be more concerned of charging him for assault, then have him banned for life. Because that was beyond the scope of an injury that one would sustain from playing the game. If it was an accident high sticking that would be different. This was a deliberate act.
