This photograph takes us back 14 years ago, during the time of Governor Ali Ibrahim Roba. Look closely at the people, the teamwork and the role we were already playing in our community. This is not a story we created yesterday. We were already there. We were already serving. We were already organizing. We were already playing our critical role in the community. Alhamdulillah. Everything we achieved was by the blessing and permission of Almighty Allah. 🤲🏽 [PAUSE] Now let me tell you why this photograph matters. We were not waiting for an election to discover our people. We were not waiting for a political position to become useful. We were already part of the community. Before the campaigns, before the political titles, before today's conversations—there was service. For those who think we are new to town, history says otherwise. For more than a decade, we have played our part as a community platform—bringing people together, listening to their concerns, documenting their stories and standing with ordinary citizens. You can question our politics. You can question our ambition. But history cannot simply be erased. The evidence is not in tomorrow. The evidence is in yesterday. And today, I thank Almighty Allah for giving me the opportunity, strength and patience to continue serving my people. I do not ask anyone to follow me blindly. Look at the history.
