Issue with the monty hall problem is it also assumes the revealed door is still an option, which it obviously isnt. You could also think about how if theres an alternate timeline where your original door was the one you switch to, then your original door technically has the 66% chance as well just like the one you'd switch to. Its really about do you prefer statistics and number theory or reality and occams razor

the monty hall problem has little to do with actual math or difficult math and majority to do with factoring in that the host does not want you to win which many people overlook

Well with 100 doors there is essentially a 99% chance of winning if u switch

The Monty hall problem only works when the doors are selected for you. If you filtered through 100 doors yourself, randomly, and narrowed it to 2 it would be a 50/50

but it still doesn't actually change a damn thing its still a guess with the 2 doors remaining regardless of the information given by the incorrect door. or am I just 70 iq

being good at math doesn’t mean your IQ is high and vise-versa, even the most intelligent thinker who’s subpar or average at best in statistics would probably assume the change is irrelevant

but first one is right, your first chose was completely unnecessary and you now must choose between 2 variants, fact that you chosen one of this two variants before is completely irrelevant

after the host reveals one of the doors its not "stay or switch" its "pick one of 2 doors" so its 50/50

the host opens every door that isn't the winning door therefore the door he didn't open must be the winning door

Am I 60 IQ or is it just a 50/50? the original choice is a 1/3 chance. Then one of them is opened revealed to be nothing. Now there is two doors one with something the other with nothing, then it's a 50/50 between those two doors. The probability from the door that was opened transfered to the other two to make the chance of something being behind the door 50%

is that the one problem where you're offered 3 doors and the host opens one of them and asks you to switch or not? and if so, isn't it more of a knowledge problem than sm analytical and all in most cases? and if we are taking it in real life scenario isnt the first one the most accurate representation of the problem? as probabilities occur on a series of events if you're given one chance to open the door it will always be the same
