Aizen not having a backstory is the best decision Kubo could've ever taken. He is written to be mysterious, and his mentality of always looking for what thing should be instead of what they are (looking always for what's changeable) makes it fair to assume he either despise or don't care at all about his past. But he does have a very clear goal though... I don't think the commenter actually paid attention to what as going on in the anime.
