They’re literally equals when it comes to strength, in ragnarok there are so many mentions of how aggressive Faye actually was, Kratos even says he never saw that side to her and yet their fight when they first met ended in a stalemate, neither of them could kill each other. Kratos and Faye were literally destined to be together.
