@ucenth: How to Permanently Wipe a Drive So Files Can’t Be Recovered Deleting your files isn’t always enough. Even formatting a drive may still leave recoverable data behind. In this video, I demonstrate how to securely wipe a test flash drive using a military-grade data wiping method based on a U.S. Department of Defense standard. Then comes the real test: Can recovery software still bring the files back? Watch till the end to see what survives. #UCENTH #Cybersecurity #Tech #trending #foryou

well.. if you have the time. I think formatting and loading another file up to the brim capacity of the disk then format again can help. by so doing if they try recovery , they will only recover the latest file formatted. I haven't tried it o. am just thinking.

@Ucenth please I need your advice 🙏. I tried TestDisk because my EAGET 64GB USB suddenly stopped opening. I discovered that Windows detects the USB controller as “NAND USB2DISK,” with VID_FFFF and PID_1201, but Disk Management and DiskPart both show “Disk 1 – No Media – 0 B,” with no volumes. File Explorer still shows USB Drive (D:), but when I open it, it says “Please insert a disk into USB Drive (D:).” TestDisk doesn't detect the actual drive either. The files on it are very important. Is there anything I can safely try to recover the data? 🙏
