Spring of the Blade, chemistry, storyline, characters, acting, so good. Against the current is too slow for me.

I’m sorry am I the only one who’s more drawn to against the current? Like I’ve never seen a Cdrama like it!? Going from the top to a maid/slave and rising to the top again on her own?! Idk it’s much more captivating than spring of the blade. Yk? There’s a lot of women revenge dramas

Against the Current is just such a special drama. The acting, pacing, symbolism and heart of the drama is so well done. It doesn't feel like an idol drama

I meant even if the fl in against the current wanted revenge she couldn't, it's not like she could go against the emperor 😭😭😭, but I'm loving both

I like Against the Current because it’s really about the female perspective and how everyone is trapped in the roles by society. Frankly even the ML

Against the current is crazy good. I love the pacing, no cliche moment. And every single detail and act in the plot is a foreshadowing of what’s to happen. I love every small character has a personality and a moment to shine. It’s one of the best period drama released this year for me

Against the Current is a slow burn, with great cinematography and stays very true the the norms of the past. Spring of Blade feels much more romantic and fast-paced, but also more drama than a period piece. I love both.
