there's different between yuri with no kiss or just feels dissapointing. cause cosmic princess kaguya has no kiss at all yet still show the yuri love line more than great, but goodbye lara is totally throw the audience to the face. in the end they just give romantic scene more to that man on this anime damn.

Another series that deserved to have their episode count maxed out. It was fast-paced right from the beginning, and it’s already frustrating enough that yuri, or even any series where two female characters are only “implied” to have feelings for each other, rarely get second seasons. There was so much potential, and we’ll probably never get to see what this story could have become. I can’t help but feel a strong sense of grief over what this series could have been, especially because it kept giving the audience false hope

lara wasn't even able to save her family properly, she didn't end up with mari OR luca, none of the characters got a character development, grace basically died for nothing..? ik she uses all her light to help lara and her family reincarnate but in the end it's jst Lara and Lisa. Lara saying she doesn't need a true love is stupid. why do they even bother to give her development with mari and romance with Luca in the first place if the story was about choosing herself? and there's many unanswered questions

en el final Lara se va para explorar el mundo por si misma crecer y evolucionar con sus propias piernas sin que nadie le dicte lo que tiene que hacer, pero con la promesa de que volverá a encontrarse con Mari. Se que puede ser confuso y no gusta a la gente por no ser más explícito ala hora de representar el amor que sienten, pero este final es una referencia al final del legendario anime yuri UTENA

I can get that people wanted a proper conversation between them at the end, I wanted that too. But what I don't get is why you all think true love is just dating and kissing and if they don't do that then call it queerbait. They explicitly love each other, it is LOVE. And the fact they didn't need labels just makes it so authentic. I fear this fandom is the same as the ones that calls Emma and Aleksander from Veil "situationship"

I still think they’re canon but it’s disappointing that they left it to be more implied rather than having them be together explicitly. I’d have loved for at least an “I love you” from Mari to Lara or from Lara to Mari rather than a “let’s keep our promise!” Because homophobes still will try to paint everything as platonic. Because yes thinking of someone as the one you truly love, wanting to be in the world because they exist in it, thinking of them when thinking of love and being sad to think about being with someone else that isn’t them, and promising to come back to them and live with them is SO very platonic.
