That's the way it should be but not always the case! A lot of good ppl that are older are over-looked everyday because they hear how old you are , see how old you are or dont have education behind them! There's the stigma of if you look elderly, you probably are especially if the person you're competing with for a job is considerably younger! The younger person normally wins out because it's assumed they're energetic go-getters!

The corporate closed minded cost cutting mindset of today's culture can f. off... I know tons of friends squeezed out for lower paying less capable and experienced youth... free enterprise clobbers corporate structure .. make your own life. Teachers are a special breed of highly compassionate people working in a societal framework that doesn't have the core teachers alignment or passion.
