@phillipcdugas1: Emotional abuse in a toxic marriage does not always look dramatic from the outside. Sometimes it looks like a man who has slowly stopped trusting himself. He second-guesses his reality. He apologizes just to keep the peace. He walks on eggshells around her moods. He cannot fully relax, even in his own home. He becomes isolated from friends, family, and the parts of life that used to make him feel like himself. He loses confidence. He starts feeling guilty for having normal needs. He gets hooked on the hot-and-cold cycle because brief moments of kindness feel like relief. And eventually, he may barely recognize the man he has become. That is what repeated gaslighting, criticism, blame-shifting, emotional withdrawal, manipulation, and control can do over time. The biggest question is not just, “Is she a narcissist?” It is: “What is this relationship doing to me?” If you are dealing with a narcissistic wife, female narcissist, emotional abuse, gaslighting, toxic marriage, walking on eggshells, or loss of confidence in a relationship, pay attention to the pattern. If this post feels familiar, comment “BOOK” and I’ll send you the link to get my new book, The Female Narcissist Dilemma. It was written to help men recognize the patterns, understand why they feel stuck, rebuild trust in their own judgment, regain confidence, and start making decisions from clarity instead of fear. #NarcissisticWife #FemaleNarcissist #EmotionalAbuse #Gaslighting #ToxicMarriage
