Timmy walks into the doctor's office in extreme pain. Timmy is resilient from a decade of pushing through, that good ol' fight in him that was needed to survive till now, his decades building his rough hard solid muscled body that provided for his family through his service to his country and early morning hours earning the means to continue to provide beyond service via his aging bones and brawn. what no one saw beyond his grit and roar his strength and initiative and will to never give in was the pain that was building up. Sure he went to the doctors. But it was different for him. See, his pain was measured differently. not by that picture of faces with numbers that protocol has offices ask a patient them console the construct of the times in the public view. No. Not Timmy. He was judged the moment he walked in. The moment the staff or doctor took a look at him. His physical appearance, his resilience, his character did not meet the construct of pain or disability or of whom society would pat the doctor or the practice for helping out. It definitely would be a hard case for the any insurance approvals. So, go shake it off Timmy. Here are some motrin and or muscle relaxers. Here are some Tylenol but there was a storm brewing. Then came that one orthopedic surgeon. Timmy pleaded. Doc, please. I'm older. my knee has been through hell. it's only been barely 3 weeks since surgery. my knee is still not right. I have trouble standing on it. it buckles and spasms sporadically. it is my prominent leg. my driving leg. my job is super physical. the therapist you sent me to said on the notes I am not ready and my knee has regressed. Timmy, you are muscular, you are strong, I can stand on your foot and you can lift me. Don't poke the bear. don't go get more mri. I am clearing you to go back to work tomorrow........
