@dk.electronic1: This image is a “Precision LED Driver Voltage Guide.” It shows different resistor values that are intended to be used with an LED at different supply voltages. 1. 220V D1: 1N4007 diode R1: 100 kΩ resistor Intended for: 220V ⚠️ Important: This is not a proper or safe 220V LED-driver circuit as drawn. 220V mains can cause a fatal electric shock. A proper isolated LED driver or approved mains circuit should be used. 2. 24V–36V R2: 1 kΩ Intended for: 24–36V The resistor limits the current through the LED. The actual LED current depends on the LED's forward voltage and supply voltage. 3. 12V R3: 430 Ω Intended for: 12V The resistor limits the LED current. 4. 9V DC R4: 300 Ω Intended for: 9V DC The resistor is connected in series with the LED to limit current. 5. 5V DC R5: 82 Ω Intended for: 5V DC Again, the resistor limits the LED current. Basic formula For a normal LED circuit: R = (Supply Voltage − LED Forward Voltage) ÷ LED Current For example, with a 5V supply, a blue LED of about 3V forward voltage, and 20mA desired current: R = (5 − 3) ÷ 0.020 = 100 Ω So the 82 Ω shown in the picture would give somewhat more than 20 mA and may be too high for some LEDs. Bottom line: The 5V, 9V, 12V and 24–36V sections are approximate resistor recommendations, not universal values. The 220V section should not be copied as a practical mains circuit.#electronic #basicelectronics #electronicsproject #francetiktok #foryou
