Thank you for sharing this. I just started painting and, although I finally learned all this stuff, it took a lot of videos and practice to figure it out. These are my first paintings. The first one isn't so great, but I was still happy for a first try. I used a tutorial, so they aren't my original idea. The last one was where I finally did my own thing. I used elements from several tutorials to come up with the image I wanted.

This entire video was incredibly informative! I'm more graphite and pastels/charcoals but used to paint aswell, some yrs back. Not a huge amount of confidence in it now but watching this was like a "welcome back, come on in, the waters fine" moment 😅 tried acrylics a few weeks ago and didn't like the way they dried so quickly.. but I'm going to try again arming myself with your advice 🤭 wish me luck 🤍✨️
