SPOILER Leyendo el libro, ahora me doy cuenta el por qué Effie se siente tan mal por tener que decir el nombre de Haymitch en la cosecha, porque ella de primera mano vió todo lo que pasó y cómo fue que la pasó Haymitch en ese entonces. Sabe de primera mano lo horrible que fue en aquel entonces para él. No era porque estuviera "enamorada" de él, para nada.
