@anastasiabeautyfascia: If your lower face looks boxier than it used to, check your masseters. The masseter is one of our strongest chewing muscles, and it can become very developed when we repeatedly clench, grind or hold unnecessary tension in the jaw. When the masseter stays overactive, it can contribute to a wider, heavier appearance through the lower face. This is one of my favorite releases because we’re not trying to aggressively reshape the jaw. We’re giving an overworked muscle a chance to relax. Go slowly, stay on the muscle, and never force your jaw into uncomfortable positions. Try one side first and compare it with the other in the mirror. Save this for your boxy jawline routine and follow for the next technique. 🤍
