When my father tried to teach me to say I'm a ninja in me substituting out the other word here, I looked at him strange as a child asking him if you told me I'm so smart and disciplined why are you wanting me to say something that's beneath me and he just stood there stunned without a word and never answered me.

It's so refreshing to find a comment section that feels the way I feel because it's so isolating. I feel like I'm an extreme outlier among my own people but there's probably a lot of black people who think and feel the way I do, but i just haven't found them in person and made personal connections with them
