The approximate absorption range is 80 Hz–20 kHz, with effective absorption extending down to approximately 60 Hz depending on mounting position. Installing the Bass Trap with an air gap behind it or angling it into a corner increases its effective depth and can extend absorption further into the low-frequency range. Our 6" Bass Traps are especially well suited for recording studios, mixing rooms, production studios and writing rooms where speaker accuracy and low-end control really matter. They can be used for first reflections, front and rear walls, ceiling clouds, wall-to-ceiling corners and vertical room corners.
