i knew quite a few people who happened to be asian and had PERFECT grades and AP scores but that’s literally all. people do forget that extracurriculars are also a factor colleges look into. they want to see leadership, volunteer work and sports to know you have a personality and goals.

Cause most colleges take into account your school average sat average 😭 if I go to school where the sat score average is 750 and I make a 1250 that shows my effort despite my environment which colleges are looking for while if I make a 1250 with a school that averages 1300 I didn’t do good when the environment should have allowed me to flourish and most black people who went to college with lower sat score averages went to horrible schools and the colloge wanted to see if they would do better in a better environment
