I think there's too much selection in supermarkets anyway and we consume far too much unnecessary food and snacks. My mum is healthy at 94 and survived on bare minimum rations as a child. Her diet was a staple of porridge, powdered eggs and other foods in moderation. She's also a vegetarian. I've started growing my own veg so I'm not worried we need to be more resilient anyway 😬

I stocked up my outhouse at the start of the year. Went out today and found a bloody mouse had chewed through a thick plastic box to get to my flour! It’s hard to prep 😂

I think this is sensible. I prep and it makes me feel secure that if any disaster occurred at least I’d have a buffer.

I’ve a couple of power stations and a solar panel to charge them. At very least I’ll be able to keep my fridge/airfryer running and devices charged in a disaster.
